Crafted with durable Engineered Wood, the Murphy Bed's closed cabinet dimensions are 59.4" (W) x 16.4" (D) x 82.6" (H), while the open bed dimensions are 59.4" (W) x 81.9" (D) x 82.6" (H), providing ample space. The under-bed clearance measures 10.6".

Professional assembly and installation are required, as the wall bed must be attached to at least 3 wall studs (4 recommended) on the upper and lower panels for safety and stability. The product ships in 3 boxes, with two boxes containing 13 boards and the last box including the mattress frame parts.

The Halstead Full Size Murphy Bed is designed to accommodate a full-size mattress up to 10" thick, with a maximum weight capacity of 660 lb., including the mattress. The mattress frame can hold up to a 10" mattress weighing between 30-60 lb.

Safety features include wood slats throughout the frame to keep the mattress fresh and eliminate the need for a box spring, as well as mattress straps to secure the mattress during the closing process. Dual gas pistons enable a smooth and quiet transition when lifting and lowering the bed.
